Subcritical fiuid mainly consists of liquefied propane and butane. The boilig point of the solvent composition is mostly under 0 °C, boiling point of propane is 42.07 °C, boilig point of butane is 0.5 °C. Its form difers under diferent conditions, such as gas for normal pressure, liquid for after pressure. The basic principle of this process is as fllows. extracting oil embryos (such as walnuts, month saw grass seeds, etc ) with subritical fluid flow under normal temperature and a certain pressure (0.3 MPa to 0.8 MPa), and then decompressing and gasitying the solvent in mixed oil and meal, recycling the post-gasification solvent gas which has been condensed and liquefed by compressor. At present, supercritical technology is flly replaced by this technology for its low cost ( its cost is equal to no. 6 solvent extraction cost, but 60% lower than the cost of supercritical extraction ) and large scale. ( the amount of daily processing is 100 kg - 200 tons ) . To ensure the effect of the material composition is not affected by temperature, it is widely used in the extraction of thermal sensitive materials.
(1) The meal quality is good after being pulped, the invariance rate of water-soluble protein is greater than 95%, meal in the residual oil is less than 1%, the residual solvent is less than 50 PPM;
(2) Low solvent consumption, tons of material consumption is less than 6 kg;
(3) 90 °Chot water is needed instead of steam, relatively 70% heat energy can be saved in using number six solvent,
(4) pollution free, environmental protection engineering;
(5) the color of extraction oil is light, low content of lecithin, residual solvent is less than 1 PPM;
(6) Extraction under normal temperature, desolventization in low temperature (less than 30 °C), do no harm to the heat sensitive materials in meal and oil , ideal extraction process of precious oil, pigment and Chinese herbal medicine;
(7) Small investment, low production costs (relatively supercritical fluid extraction equipment of carbon dioxide);,
(8) wide source and low price of subcritical fluid. The solvent is available in oil and gas fields and oil refineries, and it has a lower price than solvent 6.
